Going home pt. 1

Going home pt. 1
I simply have to post 2 images this evening since they fit so well together. Took this friday night driving home after visiting a friend. The colors of the city and the setting sun were amazing. Sometimes you just don\’t need focus.

I\’m planning on posting a lot of Christmas pictures. Maybe every day (maybe). This is is the first.

Det er min plan at poste en masse julebilleder i den næste tid. Måske ligefrem et hver dag indtil jul (måske). Her det første

Run into the woods

Run into the woods
Took this by mistake, camera went of in my hand. But I think the blur effect turned out pretty neat.

NIKON D50 (17mm, f/2.8, 1/30 sec, ISO0)

Jeg tog det her billede ved en fejltagelse da kameraet ligesom gik af ved en fejltagelse. Men jeg synes den slørede effekt blev ganske ok.

Vanishing point

Vanishing point
I just had to post this night shot too. Got around to editing it and suddenly it just behaved like I wanted it to. A bit on the dark side but that’s how I like it.

Odd one out

Odd one out
The last couple of days have been pretty hectic for me. A bit too many assignments at work, too little time at home and train signals with a will of their own.

This is actually yesterdays picture being uploaded now. Better late than never I guess

Nuts every which way

Nuts every which way
Fall is coming quickly now. Suddenly, in the last few days, temperatures have plummeted to the low end of the thermometer. It’s funny ’cause I actually welcome this season. Tons of colors, cold fingers/nose/etc. and nice indoor evenings.

Bee in blur

Bee in blur
Many times I’ve admired Joe at 72ppi‘s out of focus shots. Very inspiring. This weekend I was playing around with AF disabled. Funny but hard. Guess this bee was one of the better shots (in my opinion anyways).

Just your basic sunset-shot. I\’ve been experimenting a lot with shutter speeds and movement lately. Amazing the weird effects you can pull off.

Lakes

Lakes
Lakes that glitter behind trees. Blinking lamps in dusky streets.
I took this by mistake but when I got home and saw it on a bigger screen I just couldn\’t let it go.
