Schutterstoren

Sometimes you walk by a building a think wow!. This cylindrical tower is the Schutterstoren
in Amsterdam. The tower stands on one tiny foot, that holds the massive building. Awesome engineering!

I normally don’t plan my shots very much, but this one is deliberately taken right in front of the middle of the building.
I can do nothing, but admire the people who come up with strict architecture, which has lots of room for ornamentation and details.
Symmetry is king.
