Inri

I\’m quite fascinated by the strong symbolism that runs through Christianity.
This picture is taken in a small graveyard. There was the weirdest light while I took it, and I think that light surrounding the suffering Jesus looks quite eerie.

Feeling sad

Feeling sad
Thought this face to be be quite creepy and sad looking. This little figure had once been a finely carved sculpture, but I guess acid rain and many, many years have erased the fine features, hollowing out the face. Too bad really. One of many faces found on the collégiale Saint-Martin, Colmar, France.

Btw: I\’m not feeling sad :)

Cathédrale Notre Dame de Strasbourg

Cathédrale Notre Dame de Strasbourg
A (very) large glass mosaic window in the Cathédrale Notre Dame de Strasbourg NIKON D50 (70mm, f/4.5, 1/180 sec, ISO0)
. A totally awesome (and enormous) gothic church, that actually was the world\’s tallest building from 1625 to 1874.
The shots been edited quite a bit. Due to the height in which the window is sitting, I had to correct the perspective, but I think it\’s still showing it was shot from underneath :(
